The Now
Daley Plaza - by the fountain where I sit most days (Ludwig Mies van der Rohe)
The Riverwalk, State Street bridge and Wacker (not so quick.. 30 min Thursday + 45 min Friday).
The Early Years
These two drawings from last year got me thinking about the possibilities of ink and the quick representation of a scene. First as an architecture school assignment to record a scene in less than 30 minutes, the results got me started doing it during my lunch hour in the Loop.
Where it all started - North Pond, Lincoln Park
The Art Institute of Chicago's Modern Wing (Renzo Piano)
